Our kayak rentals are designed to make the experience as easy and comfortable as possible. You choose the lake, we meet you there, and you enjoy your time on the water.
Locations (Your Choice)
You can select from three local lakes in Chariton:
- Lake Morris
- Lake Ellis
- Red Haw Lake
We will meet you at the lake you choose with your kayak ready to go.
What You’re Renting
- Single-person open (sit-on-top) kayak
- Stable and beginner-friendly design
- Ideal for relaxing paddles, exploring shorelines, or just enjoying the water
Pricing
- $20 per hour (per person)
- Add additional time for $2 per hour
Examples:
- 1 hour = $20
- 2 hours = $22
- 3 hours = $24
What’s Included
- Kayak

Optional Beginner Lesson (Included)
If you’ve never kayaked—or just want a quick refresher—we offer a short hands-on lesson before you head out.
- Typically about 10 minutes
- Adjusted based on your comfort level
- Covers basic paddling, steering, and safety
Important timing detail:
- If another rental is booked after you, the lesson will be part of your reserved time
- If no one is scheduled after you, the lesson will not reduce your time on the water
